Chris Heim, Chief Executive Office
Chris Heim was most recently the President of Amcom Software. Amcom provides mission critical communications solutions for hospitals, government and hospitality customers. Amcom customers include 12 of the top 14 U.S. hospitals, the top executive and legislative branch in the federal government as well as most of the top casinos and resort hotels. Chris and Dan Mayleben purchased Amcom Software in March of 2007 and completed four subsequent acquisitions to further accelerate Amcom’s growth. The company grew over 500% over the last five years and has 260 employees around the world. Amcom Software was sold to USA Mobility in March of 2011.
Chris was formerly CEO and President of HighJump Software. Under Mr. Heim’s leadership, HighJump Software grew from $8.0M in sales in 1997 to a run rate of $80.0M in sales in 2006 and became the fastest growing company in their market space. In 2002, HighJump received the Tekne Award from the Minnesota High Technology Association as the Top Emerging Software Company. In 2003, Heim was selected as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2004, Heim and Mayleben engineered the sale of HighJump Software to 3M where it remained until recently spun off. Prior to becoming CEO of HighJump, Chris held a variety of roles at this company including Director of Business Development, Director of Operations and Product Development Engineer.

Dan Mayleben, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer
Dan Mayleben was the COO and CFO of Amcom Software from March 2007 to June 2012. He previously worked with Chris as the CFO for HighJump Software. While serving as CFO for HighJump Software Inc., Mayleben led the implementation of a new business model and grew the company at an annual rate of 25 percent. He co-led the sale of that company to 3M in January 2004. Prior to HighJump, Mayleben served as CFO of Adaytum. Dan sold Adaytum to Cognos in January 2003 for $160 million, a 2.6x multiple of LTM revenue.
Before Adaytum, Dan had various finance roles at Honeywell, which included the CFO of $1.8 billion business unit and undertaking several acquisitions, both large and small. Prior to Honeywell, Dan spent 10 years as in various audit roles with Deloitte.

David Orfao, Board Member
David Orfao is a founder of General Catalyst Partners, a $2.2 billion growth equity and venture capital firm with offices in Cambridge, MA and Palo Alto, CA. As an investor at General Catalyst, David Orfao has helped software companies such as Ping Identity, Imprivata and Brightcove build significant international businesses. Before co-founding General Catalyst, David most recently led Allaire Corporation from 1997 to 2000 as President, CEO and Board Member. During his tenure, Allaire grew from a venture-backed start up to a $119M public corporation trading on the NASDAQ. The company pioneered the internet Application Server market with industry leading products such as ColdFusion and JRUN. In January of 2001, Allaire merged with MacroMedia Corporation and continues to be a leading Internet software company.
Prior to his CEO role at Allaire, David held the positions of Senior VP of Sales Operations and Marketing at Frame Technology Corporation, Claris Corporation and SQA Corporation. Frame Technology and SQA Corporation were venture-backed corporations that successfully completed Initial Public Offerings on the NASDAQ. David is a graduate of Norwich University, earning a B.A. in Business and Accounting.
Peter Freeland, Board Member
Peter Freeland is a Vice President at General Catalyst focused on investing in growth-stage software opportunities. Peter began his career in JPMorgan’s investment banking unit where he worked in leveraged finance and M&A, financing and advising on change-of-control transactions involving private equity sponsors.
After JPMorgan, Peter worked for several growth equity firms including TA Associates and Great Hill Partners where he made 10 successful investments in technology companies. Peter is a graduate of Middlebury College and holds a MBA from Columbia University.
